Revolt RVX vs RV BlazeX: Which Performance Bike Fits Your Ride?

Revolt now offers two motorcycles that sit at the sportier, more feature-rich end of its range: the Revolt RVX and the Revolt RV BlazeX. They share the same family DNA, a removable 3.24 kWh battery, mid-drive power and the MyRevolt ecosystem, but they are built for different riders. One chases performance and technology. The other focuses on practicality, payload and a lighter, easier ride.

This guide compares the Revolt RVX vs RV BlazeX on performance, range, comfort, technology, load capacity and everyday usability so you can decide which performance-minded electric bike fits your life.

Performance: RVX Is Quicker and Faster

If outright performance matters most, the RVX has the edge. It offers 50 Nm of torque compared with 45 Nm on the BlazeX, a claimed 0 to 40 km/h time of 3.9 seconds* compared with 5 seconds*, and a claimed top speed of 90 km/h* compared with 85 km/h*. In everyday traffic, that quicker launch is what you feel first: a sharper response when the signal turns green and more confidence when overtaking.

The BlazeX is no slouch, though. Its 4.1 kW motor and 45 Nm of torque deliver smooth, instant electric power, and for city commutes the difference between 5 and 3.9 seconds is something many riders will not miss. If you want to understand the RVX's power delivery in detail, read our guides on RVX torque and RVX 0 to 40 acceleration.

Range and Charging: Small Edge to the RVX

The RVX claims 160 km* IDC range, 10 km more than the BlazeX at 150 km*. Both use a 3.24 kWh removable battery, and both charge from 0 to 80% in about 3 hours 30 minutes, or about 80 minutes* with fast charging. In real riding, your speed, load and traffic will have a bigger effect than the 10 km claimed gap. Because the batteries are removable, you can charge either bike indoors from a normal socket. Our electric bike charging guide covers the basics.

Payload and Practicality: BlazeX Wins

This is the BlazeX's strongest point. It is rated for a 250 kg payload against 150 kg for the RVX. It also has a front storage box and an underseat charger box. If you regularly carry a pillion, a work bag or luggage, the BlazeX gives you more headroom. It is also lighter at 105 kg kerb weight, which makes it easier to move around in tight spaces. Dive deeper in our post on the BlazeX 250 kg payload.

Technology and Features: RVX Pulls Ahead

The RVX is the technology flagship. Its 3.5-inch colour display supports call and SMS alerts, and the bike includes Hill Hold, which keeps the bike steady on an incline so it does not roll back when you pause. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity and an app-based ecosystem. Read more in our guides to RVX Hill Hold and Walk Assist and RVX Bluetooth features.

The BlazeX keeps things simpler. It has a 6-inch LCD, reverse mode, inbuilt GPS and MyRevolt app support for battery status, ride data and geo-fencing. If you prefer straightforward tech that is easy to read and use, the BlazeX is a good match. See our MyRevolt app complete guide for what the app can do.

Comfort, Suspension and Ground Clearance

The RVX uses a USD front fork and a monoshock, a sportier setup that suits spirited riding. It has 190 mm of ground clearance. The BlazeX uses a telescopic fork with twin rear shocks and offers 180 mm. The BlazeX setup favours stable, comfortable load-carrying, while the RVX favours sharper handling. Both use disc brakes at the front and rear with Combined Braking System, so stopping power is a strength of each.

Design and Colours

The RVX comes in Electric Blue, Eclipse Red and Pearl Black, with a design that is clearly aimed at younger, style-conscious riders. The BlazeX is available in Sterling Silver Black and Eclipse Red Black, a more understated look. See our RVX colours guide to compare shades. Colour availability can change, so check the model pages before you decide.

Which One Should You Choose?

Choose the Revolt RVX if:

  • You want the quickest acceleration and highest top speed in the range.

  • You value a colour display, Hill Hold and call and SMS alerts.

  • You mostly ride solo and want the highest claimed range.

  • You like a sportier look and USD front fork.

Choose the Revolt RV BlazeX if:

  • You regularly ride with a pillion or carry loads.

  • You want a lighter bike that is easy to handle in traffic.

  • You prefer a simple 6-inch display and an easy-to-use ecosystem.

  • You want practical storage and a comfort-first suspension.

Test Ride Both Before You Decide

Numbers only tell half the story. The way a bike accelerates, turns and feels at low speed is personal. Book a ride on both and pay attention to seat height, handlebar reach, how comfortable your pillion is and how the throttle feels in traffic. You can book a test ride online. Final Verdict

The Revolt RVX and RV BlazeX are two different answers to the same question: what should a performance-minded electric motorcycle feel like? The RVX is quicker, faster and loaded with technology. The BlazeX is lighter, more practical and built to carry far more. Choose the RVX if speed and features lead your list. Choose the BlazeX if practicality, payload and easy handling matter more. Confirm the latest specifications on the official pages and take both for a ride before you commit.
